Geraldine Agnes Webb

Geraldine Agnes Webb, age 91, of Maumee, died on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. The daughter of Charles and Marie Kowalski, she was born on October 3, 1918 in Toledo, Ohio. Gerry graduated from Notre Dame Academy and attended Mary Manse College. She married the love of her life, Eugene H. Webb, on June 15, 1940. Geraldine was a devoted, loving mother and a true partner to her husband, while actively raising her six children. She was a devote Catholic and a charter member of St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Parish. Gerry loved life, but mostly she enjoyed being surrounded by her family. She was extremely proud of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and their many accomplishments. She will be remembered as a spiritual, kind, caring and funny woman who will be missed by all who knew her. The widow of Eugene H. Webb, who passed away July 14, 1996, Geraldine is survived by her loving children, David Webb of St. Jean de Losne, France, Thomas Linda Webb of Washington, MI, Allan Martha Webb of Hemet, CA, Carol James Wenberg of Whitehouse, Oh, Anita Dick Lamb of Charlotte, NC, and Kathleen Botts of Maumee, OH; 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; sister, Kathleen Sattler of Perrysburg, OH, brother, Eugene Carol Kowalski of Denver, CO and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Geraldine was preceded in death by her twin brother, Gerald Kowalski and brother Louis Swartz. The family would like to thank Pat and Regina who helped care for their mother during these last months. Family and friends may visit on Sunday, October 3, 2010 from 3-8 pm at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, where funeral services will begin Monday, October 4, 2010 at 9:30 am followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 am in St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
