Geraldine Miller

Geraldine Gerry Miller, 86, of Catawba Island, passed away, Friday, July 29, 2011 at Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor, with family by her side. Gerry was born on October 28, 1924 in Winchester, MA, the daughter of Daniel Frances and Catherine Haley Sherlock. She was a veteran of the U. S. Navy. On July 27, 1946, she married William Miller and he survives. They had just celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. Gerry was a homemaker. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, the Ladies Rosary Altar Society and the American Legion Post #113 Ladies Auxiliary. Gerry will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Loving Husband: William Miller of Catawba Island; Sons: Richard W. Jeanette Miller of Troy, MI and Bruce D. Carol Miller of Avon Lake, OH; Daughter: Carolyn Angelo Marsili of Dillonville, OH; 11 Grandchildren and 14 Great-Grandchildren. Gerry was preceded in death by her parents. Friends will be received from 9:00AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM, Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Father John Missler will officiate. Interment will be at 3:00PM in Resthaven Cemetery, Avon, OH. Memorial contributions in memory of Gerry may be given to Stein Hospice. Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH assisted the family with arrangements.
