Geraldine Elaine Dale

Geraldine Elaine Dale, 89, of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away peacefully on Monday, May 4, 2020 at Riverview Senior Healthcare Campus in Oak Harbor, Ohio. She was born August 30, 1930 and raised in Marengo, Illinois, the daughter of George and Lena (Mueller) Eichstadt. Geri lived on a farm and was proud to be associated with the All American Girls Professional Baseball Team - the Rockford Peaches, which was depicted in the film, “A League of Their Own”. She moved to Barrington, Illinois in 1958 with her groom, Larry Dale. Geri loved to sing, play bridge, decorate, and laugh. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her loving husband, Larry; sons, Scott (Janice) Dale, Doug (Alice) Dale, and Joe Dale; daughter, Marci (Mark) Frederick; grandchildren, Andy, Wesley and Dashiell Dale; as well as nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings, Bob, Marvin, and Florence. Funeral services for Geri will be private.
