Gerald T. Stec

Gerald T. Stec, age 67, passed away Sunday September 21, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. The son of Walter and Lottie, he was born July 14, 1947 in Toledo. He was a graduate of Macomber High School. Following graduation, Jerry began an apprenticeship in Tool and Die making. Upon completion of his apprenticeship he embarked on a tool and die career that spanned 34 years. He married the love of his life, Mary Pine in 1967. He enjoyed woodworking and golf. Jerry will be remember as a hard working man who was dedicated to loving and providing for his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary; sons, Jay (Constance), Todd (Stacey), Sean (Ann) Stec; grandchildren Jonathon, Courtney, Alyssa, Evan, Allison; sister, Beverly (Rich) Buck. He was preceded by his parents. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday from 4-7:30 PM at Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. where a memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 7:30 PM.
