Gerald R. Boring

Gerald R. Boring, age 76, of Gibsonburg, Ohio and formerly a longtime resident of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away at his home on Wednesday, January 9, 2013. He was born in Flint, Michigan on September 27, 1936 to Roy and Grace Boring. Jerry was retired from Toledo Technologies formerly Toledo Stamping where he worked as a die setter. He was a member of the Maumee Eagles and enjoyed woodworking and reading. Jerry is survived by his children, Larry Vicki Boring, Barb Rick Weimer, John Boring, Jean Scott Johnston, Lorna Nomina and Don Laureen Boring; 13 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann. Visitation will be on Sunday, January 13, 2013 from 2 to 8 pm at Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee. Private services will follow with Interment at Ft. Meigs Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
