Gerald L. J.J. Jameson, 60, of Perrysburg, died Monday, March 26, 2012 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio with his loving family by his side. He was born March 29, 1951 in Toledo to the late Glenn and Mary Sanderbeck Jameson. He married Patricia A. Plenzler on July 31, 1971 at St. Catherines Parish in Toledo. A 1969 graduate of Sylvania Northview High School, Jerry received his tool and die card on the day his first child was born, July 25, 1973. He began his career at Obars Tool and Die then worked for 30 years at Chrysler/Jeep in Toledo, retiring in 2009. Jerry was a member of Local 12 and St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Perrysburg. He was an avid University of Michigan fan and had a great passion for the game of baseball. While at Christ the King School as a youth, Jerry played on the Little League World Series winning team. He was drafted by his beloved Detroit Tigers while in high school but was unable to play following an accident shortly after the draft. Jerry will be most remembered for his fun-loving nature and as a devoted, generous husband, father and grandfather. Those left to cherish his memory include his dedicated wife of 40 years, Pat Jameson; children, Christopher A. Nicole Jameson, Kimberly M. Jeffery Schuberg and Jeffery L. Kimberly Jameson; grandchildren, Alexis and Zachary Jameson and Cody and Ella Schuberg; brothers, Thomas Connie and Timothy Jameson; and sister, Mary Jo Chuck Faller. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-8 p.m. in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee, where Christian wake services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Prayers will begin in the funeral home on Friday, March 30 at 9:45 a.m. and proceed to St. Rose Church, 215 E. Front Street, Perrysburg, for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Private burial will take place at St. Rose Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
