Gerald J. Dlugosielski

Gerald “Jerry” J. Dlugosielski, 71, of Perrysburg, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 15, 2018. He was born in Toledo, OH to Steven and Mary (Lawnizak) Dlugosielski on December 19, 1946. Jerry proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was employed by the A & P Grocery Store as the Produce Manager and was currently a door greeter at the Perrysburg Walmart. He married the love of his life, Teresa (Szymanski) on October 14, 1967. Being a nature lover, Jerry loved to spend time outdoors; especially fishing and having picnics in the park. He also enjoyed computers and being an amazing uncle. Jerry was known for his hilarious sense of humor and will be missed greatly by all who knew him. Jerry is survived by his wife, Teresa; and nieces, Teresa (Skip) Davila, Mable (Milan) Youster, Rita McKenzie, Betty (Dave) Phillips. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Ann Sullivan; brother-in-law, John Sullivan; and niece, Darla McKenzie. Friends will be received on Monday, November 19, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133). A Funeral Service will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Fort Meigs Union Cemetery.
