GERALD THOMAS BIHN, SR. Gerald Thomas Bihn, Sr., 86, of Perrysburg passed away January 4, 2019. Jerry was born March 7, 1932 in Millbury, Ohio to Lawrence and Olive (Busson) Bihn. He proudly served our country in the United States Army from 1952-54. Jerry married Mary Ann Urschalitz on April 23, 1960 in Findlay Ohio at St. Michaels Church. Jerry and Mary Ann enjoyed traveling together, visiting 49 of the 50 states and many other countries. They particularly enjoyed visiting Yellowstone National Park and being with family and friends. Jerry was a millwright for Libby Owens Ford for 42 years. He was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church and a charter member of the Knights of Columbus, Council #7978. Jerry could fix anything, loved a good polka, and found much humor in life. Along with his wife, Mary Ann, Jerry is survived by his children, Dr. Gerald (Deborah) Bihn, Paul (Kathy) Bihn, Dr. Cheryl (Paul Havlik) Bihn and Dr. Betsy (Dr. Courtney Weber) Bihn; grandchildren, A.J., Kara, Hunter, Jamie, Kalani Bihn, Rye and Luke Weber, and Jacob Havlik; siblings, Norma Cuprak, Ray (Helen) Bihn, Ann (Warren) Keeler, Rita Bates, Carolyn (Ron) Bosse, Larry Bihn, Judy Bihn, and Gene (Amy) Bihn; In-laws, Jean Bihn, Mother Dorothy Urschalitz, Martha (Richard) Warren, and Sue (Richard) Senn, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Robert (Mary Ellen) Bihn, Milo (Mary A) Bihn, Andy Bihn and Jim Bihn; In-laws, Robert Urschalitz and Richard Cuprak. Family & Friends will be received on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133) from 4-7 PM with the Rosary being recited at 6:45 pm. Prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 9:45 AM with a Funeral Mass being held at 10:30 AM at St. Rose Catholic Church, 215 E. Front Street, Perrysburg, OH 43551, with burial to follow in St. Rose Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Jerry’s name to Ohio Living Health & Hospice, St. Rose Helping Hands or Poor Clares Annunciation Monastery, Minooka, IL.
