Georgia Ann Roberts

Georgia Ann Roberts, Sweetest Mother, Wife, Nana, Gigi and Friend to all, passed away peacefully and comfortably, on Sunday, October 2, 2022.

Georgia was born in Toledo, Ohio on December 6, 1938, to George and Grace Case. She graduated from DeVilbiss High School and worked in sales for many years at The Blade before retiring. Georgia’s internal strength allowed her to become a Breast Cancer Survivor.

Georgia’s passion and creativity for Art allowed for a beautiful talent that showed in her many paintings, drawings and sketches. She also loved all things relating to nature and in particular, her love for animals.

Georgia will forever be remembered for the amount of love she gave to her family and friends. Her family was her world and the love she gave will forever be captured in many hearts. In true Georgia fashion, she continues to care even now, by donating her body to science to help others.

Georgia is preceded in death by her beloved husband Terry Roberts, parents Grace and George Case, brothers Gary and Jack, and granddaughter Samantha Jensen. She is survived by children DeAnna (Jim) Jensen, Jim (Cynthia) Crowley and Patti (Fred) Lopez, grandchildren Kaitlin (Kyle) Keiser, Kyle Jakubowski, Lexi Lopez, Ian Crowley, Gunnar Crowley, Reegan Crowley, Dani Jensen, Doug Jensen and great grandchildren, Samantha Jensen, Jett DeNofa and Jack Keiser, and her sweet ‘doodle’ Lucy.

The family sends a very special thank you to Joanie RN and Kind Hearts Hospice of Toledo for providing their comfort and care to Georgia.

Please join the family for Georgia’s Sweet Celebration of Life on Sunday October 9, 2022, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Wheeler Farms, 11266 Obee Rd., Whitehouse, Ohio. Chaplain Ron will be speaking at 12:30 p.m.

The family requests that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to charities that have been near and dear to Georgia’s heart.
