George A Timmons

GEORGE A. TIMMONS George A. Timmons, age 85, of Whitehouse and formerly of Toledo died Monday, July 25, 2016 at Whitehouse Country Manor. George was born in Toledo to George O. and Arleta (Slayton) Timmons. Later he married Lara McCullough who preceded him in death on July 4, 1999. As a Veteran, George served our country in the United States Army and Air Force. He worked as a Custodian for Wickes Lumber and also worked at Anderson Plastics as a Machine Operator. He was a member of New Life Pentecostal Church of Toledo. George was a fan of The Ohio State University Buckeyes who enjoyed fishing and taking pictures at family cookouts. He is survived by his children, Karen (Bud) Rose, George (Linda) Timmons, Terry (Karen) Timmons, Laurie (Alan) Porus, Dale and Thomas Timmons; 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren as well as his daughter-in-law, Penny Timmons. George was preceded in death by his wife, Lara; son, David Timmons Sr., grandson, Nathaniel Timmons, and his sisters, Marilyn and Jean. Friends will be received on Thursday, July 28, 2016 from 2-9:00 P.M. at Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, OH (419-865-8879) where funeral services will be held on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 10:30 A.M.
