George Rinas, 73, of Port Clinton, OH passed away, Thursday, October 16, 2008, with his loving family at his side. He married, Karen Kent Rinas on October 28, 1961 and she survives. He previously owned operated Johnnys Camp Boat Harbor for 26 years. For the past several years he owned and operated George Rinas Topsoil Landscaping. George was a member of the Camp Perry Shooting Club and loved trapshooting. He enjoyed attending all of his grandchildrens athletic events. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. He is also survived by: Sons: Mark James Rinas; Daughters: Nadine Galen Scott and Susan Mark Segaard; Grandchildren: Samantha Jacob Scott and Nathan Owen Segaard; Brother: Ervin Rinas; Sister: Nadine Mark Koenig and several nieces and nephews. George was preceded in death by his parents Ervin and Millie Jankovich Rinas, son George Rinas and his sister Valerie Wolf. Visitation will be 9:30 to 10:30AM, Saturday, October 18, 2008 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Port Clinton, OH, followed by a Memorial service, conducted by Rev. Deron Fourman at 10:30AM. Memorial contributions in memory of George may be given to the Oak Harbor Athletic Boosters and the Camp Perry Shooting Club.
