George William Pahle

George W. Pahle age 82 of Toledo passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Devine Care Center in Sylvania. George was born in Toledo to Robert and Ruth (Hurr) Pahle on August 29, 1939. George was a 1957 graduate of Scott High School and went on to serve his country in the U.S. Army. George was employed at Gilbert Mail Service for 52 years, serving as President for 15 years until retiring in 2003. His memberships included Masonic Northern Light Lodge, Scottish Rite, Zenobia Temple Arab Patrol, Knights Templer, Toledo Elks, Royal Order of Jesters and American Legion Post 335 Toledo, where he was past commander. Surviving is his son, Steven (Leana) Pahle; Daughter, Kelly (Bob) Wallington, grandchildren, Collin (Rebekah), Jessi (Mike), Erica and Nick ; Great-grandchildren, Bentley and Sophia. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Janice Pahle. Services for George will be private. Online condolences may be shared at walkerfuneralhomes.com
