George E Meredith

GEORGE E. MEREDITH George E. Meredith, age 72, of Perrysburg, passed away December 31, 2012, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg. He was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on October 26, 1940 to Emery L. and Nan E. (Harnish) Meredith. George married the love of his life Marsha English on September 3, 1961. He began working for Rightmyer and Johnson, before becoming employed with JDRM Engineering as a project manager, retiring in 2010. George was a member of ASHRAE- American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, Air Conditioning Engineers. He was an avid golfer and a member of the USGA. In his spare time you could always find him golfing, and volunteering at local golf events. He also enjoyed traveling. George was a member of First United Methodist Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Marsha, children, Robert, Scott (Lisa), Todd (Sandy) and M. Brent (Kelly) Meredith; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandson; father, Emery L.; and sister, Karen Cole. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nan Meredith and granddaughter, Lindsay Meredith. Friends will be received on Friday, January 4, 2013 from 3-8pm. in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home 222 E. S. Boundary St. Perrysburg (419-874-3133). Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 10:30 am in First United Methodist Church 200 W. Second St. Perrysburg, Ohio 43551. Interment will follow in Fort Meigs Union Cemetery.
