George R. Krasula

George R. Krasula, 87, of Perrysburg, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Kingfston Residence of Perrysburg. He was born in Rossford, Ohio on August 4, 1924 to Paul and Mary Ann (Korcek) Krasula and was a graduate of Haskins High School. He was a WWII veteran serving in the Army Air Corps. He married Lois M. Hill on November 13, 1948 in Kentucky and she preceded him in death on September 26, 2010. He began his career with Kroger as a meat cutter and became Zone Manager up until 1967 when he moved with his family back to the Toledo area. He then became a real estate agent and owned carry out stores in Perrysburg and Haskins. He is survived by his daughters, Pamela (Donald) Saam, Patricia (Gary) Harmon and Debra Dempsey; son, George (Gwen) Krasula; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Rose Killian and several nieces and nephews. George was also preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Paul, Frank, John, Joe and Andrew Krasula; and sisters, Anna Mary Krasula, Mary Jagos and Kate Jones. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Perrysburg (419-874-3133).
