George T. Brady, 78, of Maumee, OH passed away unexpectedly Saturday June 6, 2009 in his home. He was born April 19, 1931 in Asheville, NC to Harriette Tilson and John Brady. George was employed as an Insurance Adjuster for 39 years with the USF& G Company. He served in the US Army in the Korean Conflict. George was very active with the Boy Scouts for over 40 years, earning the Silver Beaver Award. He was an active member of Zion United Methodist Church in Toledo. George is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Grace Tiel Brady whom he married July 27, 1957; children, Janet Bob Perryman, Scott Maureen Molly Brady and Carol Richard Yockey; grandchildren, Jill Greg Kramer, Robyn Perryman, Sean Brady, Christopher Brady and Brandon Yockey; niece and nephew, Steve Brady and Valerie Emerson Crawford. A loving husband, father and grandfather, he will be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his brother, John Brady and sister-in-law, Clariece Brady. Family and friends may visit Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, OH. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. in Zion United Methodist Church 2600 Copland Blvd., Toledo, OH 43614.
