Genoveva P Gonzalez

GENOVEVA P. GONZALEZ Genoveva P. Gonzalez, 83, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital surrounded by her family. Genoveva was born November 9, 1932 in Tamaulipas, Mexico to Genovevo and Margarita (Hernandez) Pena. She married Serapio Gonzalez on April 22, 1950 in Mercedes, Texas and he preceded her in death on July 27, 1998. Genoveva was a member of the Jehovah Witnesses. She enjoyed gardening, especially in flower beds and most of all loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her wonderful cooking and her green thumb. She is survived by her children, Elida (Bryan) Thomas, Eduardo (Betty) Gonzalez, Ernesto (Theresa) Gonzalez, Emma (Roger Ebersole) Duling and Eva Gonzalez; ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; siblings, Faustino Pena, Beatrice Lopez, Sanjuanita Gonzalez, Guadalupe Figuero, Rosa Markley, Roberto Pena and Juan Pena. Along with her husband, Serapio, Genoveva was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Elisa Coleman and siblings, Alonzo and Olivia. A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 17, 2016 at 3 P.M. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 2315 E. Wooster Street, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402.
