Irene Duncan Geneva Irene Duncan, 83, of Northwood, died May 19, 2013 at Orchard Villa Nursing Home in Oregon. She was born in Speedwell, TN to Tilman (Maude Harmon) Hall. Irene married Joe Duncan on May 31, 1952 in Speedwell, TN. She was employed for 20 years with Jobst Institute. Irene was a faithful member of Athens Missionary Baptist Church, Walbridge. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter: Delores Duncan,brothers : Carl and Arnold Hall, brother-in-law: Lee Duncan, Aunt: Hattie Brust, and Sister-In Law Cora Duncan. She is survived by her children: Joan Adamson, Cathy Duncan, Stanley (Rhonda) Duncan, Debra Duncan, Donald (Karen) Duncan, Ronald (Sara) Duncan, Joseph (Shelly) Duncan, and Sharon (Tony) Mangum, Twenty Grandchildren, and one great grandson, Sister in Laws: Ruth and Dixie Hall. Friends will be received in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home 701 N. Main St. Walbridge (419-666-3121) from 2-9 Wednesday May 22, 2013. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 23, 2013 in the Athens Missionary Baptist Church, Walbridge at 11 AM where the family will receive friends after 10AM. Burial will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Alzheimers Association, or Athens Missionary Baptist Church.
