Gene "Geno" William Weyandt

Gene “Geno” W. Weyandt, age 88, of Oak Harbor, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at his residence.  He was born on January 13, 1934 in Oak Harbor to Walter and Mildred (Nehls) Weyandt.  Gene was a retired truck driver, where he worked for American Freight and was a member of the Teamsters for 32 years.  He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Oak Harbor, a member of both the Moose and Eagles in Fremont and enjoyed spending time watching sports and spending time with the grandkids.

Gene is survived by his wife of 67 years, Shirley; daughter, Tamara Kleinhans and grandchildren, Joshua and Daniel Kleinhans.  He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Randall.

Services per the family will be private.  The Robinson-Walker Funeral Home, Oak Harbor, Ohio is assisting with the arrangements.
