Gaynelle Heinze

Gaynelle C. Heinze passed away Monday, February 1, 2016 at her home in Toledo. Gaynelle was born in Toledo to the late Viola M. and Frank S. Crawford. She was a graduate of DeVillbis High School and attended the University of Toledo, where she was a member of Chi Omega. Gaynelle worked for Toledo Pediatrics for over 10 years and was a member of the Flower Hospital Womens Auxiliary. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. Gaynelle enjoyed reading, gardening, and bird watching. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and relaxing at the lake. Gaynelle was a faithful Catholic who attended Mass regularly and served as a volunteer for Eucharistic Adoration. Gaynelle is survived by her husband, John; daughters, Laura Heinze, Amy (Paul) Radon, Sue (Dennis Perkins) Clark, and Jeanne (Frank) Tomasi; sons, Howard (Tracy), Tim (Susan), and Mike (Rebecca); sister, Pat (Jerry) Baumgartner; 16 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, February 4, 2016 from 2-8:00pm at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) Toledo, OH with a Rosary Service at 7:00pm. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30am on Friday at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4100 Harvest Lane Toledo, OH 43623. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
