Gaylord Lee Klingaman

Gaylord Lee Klingaman, Sr., age 85, of Genoa, Ohio passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at ProMedica Bay Park Hospital, Oregon, Ohio. He was born on October 19, 1937 to Buford and Sylvia Klingaman in Richland Center, Wisconsin.

Gaylord was a hard worker all his life. He was employed at The Cheese Factory and Kraemaer’s in Wisconsin. He would eventually move and work for Kraemer’s in Clay Center, Ohio where he operated heavy equipment until his retirement. Gaylord enjoyed fishing, some yard and garden work, working on small engines and visiting family and friends in Wisconsin and other states. He was also a member of the Genoa American Legion Post 324.

Survived by his wife, Joyce; children, Gaylord Jr. (Sherri), Tina (Jim) Oldiges, Melissa Pittman, Lisa (Larry) Wright, Jann Clark, Vicki (Tom) Mizell, and Jodi (Bob) Kale; 14 grandchildren; many great and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Eleanor); and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, from 10 A.M. until the time of service at 12 P.M. at Robinson-Walker Funeral Home, 501 West Street, Genoa, OH. Burial will follow at Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in Gaylord’s honor to the Allen-Clay Joint Fire District.
