Gary W. Stine, Ii

Gary W. Stine, II, 48, passed away June 13, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Gary was born January 24, 1968 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Gary W. Stine and Peggy M. (White) Stine. Gary graduated from Perrysburg High School where he played football and was class president. He attended The Ohio State University where he wrestled, and later attended The University of Toledo and Owens Community College. Gary was the admissions and marketing director of several health care facilities. Gary never met a stranger, he knew and welcomed anyone who came into his life. He was an advocate for children that were bullied and he would stand up to anyone. Gary will be remembered for always helping anyone who needed it and being a gentle soul. Along with his mother, Peggy; Gary is survived by his children, William Stine and Nicholas Stine; brother, David F. (Faye) Stine; niece, Paige and nephew, Jason; his life partner, Laura Steffan and her two boys, Tanner and Cameron. He was preceded in death by his father, Gary; brother, Christopher George Stine and his grandparents. Friends will be received Monday, June 20, 2016 from 5-7 P.M. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133) with services beginning at 7 P.M. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made directly to the family.
