Gary Norman Silverhart, born March 10, 1971, died unexpectedly in his sleep on October 29, 2011 from an irregular heart rhythm. He lived his forty short years with exuberance and passion. He filled a room with his larger than life personality. From early childhood he proved to be an imaginative storyteller with an irresistible spirit. He was able to convince his entire preschool that he had a pet alligator in the bathtub and a dog from Hawaii. He was enthusiastic and persuasive and had a magnetism that drew everyone to him. Gary was both an excellent student and a strong leader in school. He was president of his high school class and student council. He attended college and received a MBA from Bowling Green where he was a member in the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. He worked in the financial services industry in banking, personal finance and tax management. Gary enjoyed many sports and the associated acclaim. During his BMX career as a teenager, he was injured during a competition. As he was carried off the track on the stretcher, he raised his head and waved wildly to the cheering crowd. He was an accomplished tennis player and was highly ranked in the state of Ohio. Gary had a generous, thoughtful and fun-loving spirit. He constantly anticipated others
