Gary Leroy Guilliam

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gary Leroy Guilliam, age 70, on July 18, 2026. Gary was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend whose quick wit, generous spirit, and love for family will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Gary was born on April 7, 1956, in Canton, Ohio, to John and Louise Guilliam, who preceded him in death. He graduated from Bedford High School in 1975 and went on to build a successful life and career in Petersburg, Michigan, where he owned and operated Great Lakes Service and Supplies, Inc.

Gary enjoyed many hobbies throughout his life. He was an avid NASCAR fan and found great joy in camping, traveling, and spending time in Florida, one of his favorite destinations. He took pride in caring for his yard and especially enjoyed watching the wildlife.

He is survived by his two sons, Jay (Mary) Guilliam and Kevin Guilliam; his grandchildren, Jay II (Alexis) Guilliam, Emily Guilliam, Isabelle Guilliam, and Gabe Guilliam; seven step-great-grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters, Kennedy Guilliam and Sawyer Guilliam. Gary is also survived by his brother, John (Kacy) Guilliam; his sister, Lois (Mike) Haidet; his beloved grand dog, Lana; and many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Friends will be received on Monday, July 27, 2026 from 10:00 to 11 am in the Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 E.S. Boundary St, Perrysburg, OH. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 11:00 am. Burial will be held at Fort Meigs Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
