Gary S. Csizmar

Gary S. Csizmar, 64, of Toledo, Ohio died unexpectedly at home on Friday, January 27, 2017. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on December 6, 1952 to Frank and Deloris (Shonebarger) Csizmar. He graduated from St. Francis De Sales High School in 1970 and from the Toledo Police Academy on October 10, 1977. Gary devoted his time as a Police Officer for the Toledo Police Department for 25 years. He retired on August 2, 2002. Gary enjoyed the outdoors, deer hunting and riding his motorcycle. Gary will be missed by his daughter, Elisha (Jon) Ringenberg; granddaughter, Madeline Evans; grandson, Jacob Ringenberg; brother, David Csizmar; step sister, Linda (David) Hart; step brother, Jim Stuttle; niece, Bridget Csizmar; and nephew, Evan Csizmar. He was preceded in death by his parents; and aunt, Anna Csizmar. Friends will be received at Witzler Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary St., Perrysburg, Ohio (419-874-3133) on Saturday, February 4, 2017 from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM where a memorial service will follow at 4:00 PM.
