Gary S. Birch

Gary S. Birch age 59 of Toledo passed away Monday, September 13, 2010 in Flower Hospital. He was born May 1, 1951 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Howard and Marilyn Birch. A US Marine Veteran, he served his country in Vietnam. Gary enjoyed a career in the food service industry, loved art and had a passion for music. His greatest passion in life was his family, especially his grandchildren Alex, Madison and Ben. Also surviving is his loving wife Sheryl; sons David Jodie and Jason Anita Birch; mother Marilyn Birch; brother Steven Birch; sister Melanie Birch; mother-in-law Ruth Varley; sister-in-law Valerie Hamilton; and nieces and nephews. Friends may visit the family at the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey on Thursday after 10 AM where memorial services will follow at 12 Noon.
