Gamila Ebraheim, of Maumee, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at University of Toledo Medical Center. She was born in Fayoum, Egypt to Isaac Messiha Youssef and Almaza Awad Ghabour. Gamila moved to the United States in 1986 and was a charter member of St. George Coptic Orthodox Church. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Gamila also loved and adored her children and her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Anwar and her son-in-laws, Amad Arsanious, Talat Soliman and Bolis Louka. Gamila is survived by her sons, Dr. Nabil Tracy Ebraheim and Hany Germine Ebraheim; daughters, Susie Louka, Magda Soliman, Mervat Ebraheim, Nagwa Kareem Abdelshaid Ebraheim and Gehan Kamel Kamel; grandchildren, Richard Melissa Louka, Selina Louka, Molly Ebraheim, Miranda Ebraheim, Carol Nour Mickail Soliman, Mark Soliman, David Arsanious, Kitty Ebraheim, Jessica Ebraheim, Andrew Ebraheim, Thomas Ebraheim, Christine Kamel, Angie Kamel and Lydia Kamel. The family would like to thank Dr. Akpunonu, the nurses and doctors in the MICU at the University of Toledo Medical Center for their loving care of Gamila. Family and friends may visit Friday, November 4, 2011 from 5-8 pm in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee where a Trisagion Service will be held at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 12:00 pm at St. George Coptic Orthodox Church 4860 Waterville-Monclova Road, Monclova, OH 43542.
