Gail (Honisko) Wymer died peacefully on February 23, 2024, at the age of 77. Born to her parents Kenneth and Leila (Cutcher) Seymour on March 4, 1946, she grew up in the Toledo area and attended Whitney High School and was a parishioner at St. Clement Catholic Church.
Cooking and baking was a central part of Gail’s life both at home and professionally. She prided herself on cooking for Maria Child Care as well as Flower Hospital. At home she made so many amazing foods ranging from Hungarian Chicken Poperkosh to many tasty baked goods. She enjoyed bike rides through the metro parks, and crafting which included sewing, ceramics, & scrapbooking.
Nothing topped her love of family, her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, except for the special place in her heart that was reserved for her favorite doggy Boogie. He was her true baby.
Left to cherish her memory, husband, Earnest Wymer; children, Leanne Crosby, Steve Honisko, Corrie Kreger; grandchildren, Elizabeth Collins, Danielle (Craig) Crosby, Jerry Beaudo, Jessica (Kevin) Dixon, Ashley Beaudo, Stephenie (Devon) Miller, Jacob (Lakin) Kreger, Abigail Honisko, Katie Kreger, Kayla Kreger, Lucas Honisko, Kasey Kreger; many great grandchildren; siblings Patricia Williams, John Seymour, and David Seymour.
Preceding her in death, husband of nearly 50 years, Don Honisko; son, Greg Crosby, sister, Cheryl Sibley; and her precious pup Boogie.
The family would like to extend its gratitude to Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their continued care and support.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 2, from 11 am - 12 pm at Walker Funeral Home (5155 W. Sylvania Ave) with a memorial service beginning at noon.
