Gail Mata Griminger

Gail Mata Griminger, 89, of Omaha, Nebraska, and formerly of Elmore, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2026. Gail was born November 24, 1936, at Flower Hospital in Toledo, Ohio, to Kempton W. and Iona M. (Herman) Baker. Gail attended Bowling Green State University and graduated from Saint Mary College, Leavenworth, Kansas, where she was a member of the Alpha Phi Sorority. She worked as a real estate agent for several years in Hampton, Virginia and relocated to Elmore, Ohio in 2006.

Gail is survived by her son, Charles (Roxanne) Griminger; and sister Rebecca (Jim) Reinbolt. Preceded in death by her parents and brother, George (Barbara) Baker

A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, August 5, 2026, in Trinity Lutheran Church, 412 Fremont Street, Elmore. Graveside services will follow a fellowship lunch at 1:30 pm at Lake Township Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church. Robinson Walker Funeral Home, Genoa, is assisting the family.
