Frieda M Mcgovern

Frieda M. “Fritz” McGovern, age 71, of Swanton, OH, formerly of Toledo, died Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Swanton Valley Care Center. She was born in Toledo on August 9, 1943 to Russell and Vera (Tehan) McGovern Sr. Frieda was employed for many years as an Ice Cream Truck Driver throughout the Toledo area and will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. She is survived by many nieces; nephews; cousins; sister-in-laws, Bobbie Saylor and Brenda McGovern as well as her brother-in-law, George Berry. Frieda was preceded in death by her parents; Russell and Vera; brothers, Russell McGovern Jr. and William “Bill” McGovern; sister, Patricia Berry; nephew, Jerry Zahner as well as her niece, Tamara Bomar. Friends will be received on Sunday from 2-8 P.M. in Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway in Holland (419-865-8879) where funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. on Monday, October 27, 2014. Burial will follow in East Swanton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Frieda’s name to the Huntington ’s Disease Society of America.
