Frieda B. Calendine

Frieda B. Calendine, 83, resident of Sunset Village, passed away November 18, 2013 at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania, Ohio surrounded by her family. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio April 25, 1930, the daughter of Harold and Clara Himelspach Miller. She married George Calendine, Sr. in 1946. She spent her working career at Toledo Hospital working in the Accounts Payable Department as the Accounting Supervisor. She retired from Toledo Hospital in 1988. She was proceeded in death by her husband, George Calendine, Sr., in 1987. She is survived by her brothers, Harold Carol Miller of Sylvania, Ohio and Larry Michelle Miller of Rossford, Ohio; her children, Douglas Nancy Calendine of Port St. Joe, Florida, Linda Lintner of Ellenton, Florida, George Patty Calendine of Lambertville, Michigan, Eric Karen Calendine of Toledo, Ohio, and Michel Raelyn Calendine of Bradenton, Florida; her grandchildren, Laura Benjamin Allen, Dustin Calendine, John Calendine, Ericka Calendine, Evan Calendine, Cody Calendine, Everett Calendine, and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Thursday, November 20, 2013 from 3:00 8:00 PM and a service will be held Friday, November 21, 2013 at 11:00 AM, both at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave., Toledo, Ohio west of Corey Rd.. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to the American Diabetes Association.
