Fredrick D. Lorensen

Fredrick D. Lorensen, 56, of Oak Harbor, died Wednesday, August 8, 2007, in Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton. Fred was born February 4, 1951, in Port Clinton to Carl and Wilma Thorbahn Lorensen. He was a truck driver for UPS and had served in the National Guard for six years. Fred was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Oak Harbor. Being an avid outdoorsman, Fred enjoyed fishing and hunting and was also a classic car enthusiast.Survivors include his mother, Wilma, of Oak Harbor, son, Brian Lorensen, of Bloomsbury, NJ, and daughter, Holly Lorensen, of Belleair, FL, sister-in-law, Barbara Lorensen of Oak Harbor, and nieces, Angie and Beth Lorensen. His father, Carl, and brother, Roger Lorensen, preceded him in death.Visitation will be 2-8 p.m., Friday, August 10, 2007, in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home, Oak Harbor, with the family present 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 11, 2007, in St. Paul Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor, with interment to follow in Union Cemetery.
