Frederick L. Staeble, 82, of Waterville, OH passed away Saturday, August 30, 2008 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 6, 1925 in Southampton, PA to Louis E. and Martha Price Staeble. Frederick was a WWII Army Infantry Veteran. He was a teacher with Maumee City Schools for 25 years and upon his retirement was employed by the Ohio State Turnpike Commission and served as a Security Guard for the Heartland of Browning Care Center in Waterville for several years. Frederick was also an avid gardener. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Edna Henry Staeble whom he married June 4, 1951; children, Louis Dawn Staeble of Bowling Green, OH, Abby Staeble of Kensington, CA, Ken Staeble of Waterville, OH and Anna John Barker of Groton, MA; grandchildren, Nathan, Aidan, Tynan, Henry, Sophia and Miles; and sister, Catherine John DeGeorge of Sarasota, FL. In addition to his parents, Frederick was preceded in death by his sister, Marie Staeble and brother, John Staeble. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 13, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Pauls Episcopal Church, 310 Elizabeth Street, Maumee, OH.
