Fred Rowland was born February 22, 1949 and passed away on December 7, 2020. He worked for Ohio Bell for 30 years at various locations as a cable installer and trouble shooter retiring in 1995. Fred just loved his Fighting Irish Notre Dame and Detroit Lions along with the Tigers. Fred and Sandy were married for 34 years. In his spare time he enjoyed bowling and bowled several perfect 300 games. He would bowl several times a week and would have bowled all 7 days if he could have afforded it. He used to follow the Pro Bowlers Tour every year when it came to Toledo. In the summer you could always find him working in the yard or his flower and vegetable gardens. The love of his life besides his family was his cat "Charlie" and Dog "Rini". He is survived by his wife, Sandy; children, Todd (Darcy) Rowland, Andrea Slomowitz and step-son Anthony Koback; brother Tim Rowland; grandchildren, Jordan Leonard, Hannah (Kyle) Tansel, Abi, Audrey & Jace Rowland, Alex, Paige and Nick Slomowitz, Nick Sisemore; 4 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and 4 great nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Lon (Shell) Filipovich. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dean and Dorothy Rowland; sister, Donna Gaylean; step daughter, Bobbie Jo Sisemore. Fred finally made it to Bowler Heaven.
