Frederick Jim Hott

Frederick Jim Hott, age 58, of Maumee, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. He was born on October 16, 1955 in Toledo, Ohio to Frederick and Marilynn Gunn Hott. Jim retired from Springfield Local Schools as a licensed electrician. He liked to race snowmobiles and was a member of the Michigan Snowmobile Association. Jims hobbies included flying airplanes with the Flying Tigers RC Club and his love of music gave him the opportunity to play guitar in a band. Jim is the loving father of Katie Dylan Goodman and Brian; adoring brother of Randy Nancy Hott and Amy Mark Grohowski. He also leaves behind many friends and loved ones. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends and family may call at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio on Sunday, March 9, 2014 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Springfield Township Cemetery.
