Fred J Kunz

Fred John Kunz, 78, longtime resident of Monclova, OH, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2007 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 1, 1929 in Toledo to Walter and Eva Lowe Kunz. Fred attended Monclova School and was a Korean Army veteran. He worked as a Route Salesman at various retail outlets, and retired from Seaway Foodtown in 1985. Fred also worked as a custodian for Zion Lutheran Church, Waterville and with Anthony Wayne Schools. A member of the Monclova Historical Society, Fred served as Grand Marshall in their annual Parade in 2005. He enjoyed collecting Jeep Memorabilia, and was a member of the Maumee Eagles. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Cathy A. Nuding Kunz, whom he married December 30, 1983; daughters, Marilyn Robeson of Toledo, OH, Cindy Dieball of Perrysburg, OH and Carol Kunz of Whitehouse, OH; grandchildren, Tom Amanda Hutchinson, Amy Tews, Jamie John Sampsel and Betsy Luke Wunderlin; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters May Al Kovacs of Rossford, OH and Joan Bob Phillips of White Pigeon, MI; brother, Paul Joyce Kunz of Mishawaka, IN and former wife, Edna Kunz. In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded in death by brothers, Walter, Robert and Berlin
