Fred Kramp, Jr.

Fred Kramp was born September 30, 1921 in Toledo, Ohio from the union of Frederick Kramp Sr. and Hazel Dossat Kramp. Fred graduated from Scott High School in 1939. He attended Davis Business College and worked at the Pentagon in the 1940s. In later years he was employed at the City of Toledo Water Department as a dispatcher retiring in 1984. His hobbies were handball, playing trumpet in small dance groups, Tai Chi and watching the Detroit Pistons. At the age of 42 years, Fred married H. Sue Harper Myers. She brought to their marriage her four young children. Fred is survived by his wife of 45 years Sue; beloved companion, Ivy; three daughters, Susanne James Weber, Jennifer Richard Graham and Mary David Hiteshew and one son, Daniel Myers; 9 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. He was baptized as a baby and was a long-time member of the Monroe Street United Methodist Church. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be at 11 am Saturday at Monroe Street United Methodist Church, 3613 Monroe St. Toledo, OH. 43606. Memorial contributions may be made to the Toledo Area Humane Society, 1920 Indian Wood Circle, Maumee, OH. 43537.
