In Loving Memory of Fred “Cody” Goldyn
With deep love and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Fred “Cody” Goldyn, who was born on August 31, 1943, and entered eternal rest on November 27, 2025. Cody leaves behind his devoted wife, Miriam, his beloved children, Cassie (Ben), Bob, and Chris (Megan), and his treasured grandchildren, Leyah, Rennah, Sami, Alex, Lauren, and Kendall, all of whom brought immense joy to his life.
A celebration of Cody’s life will be held at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, 3754 Woodley Rd, Toledo, on Wednesday, December 3, 2025:
• Visitation: 10:00 AM
• Service: 11:00 AM
• Burial: Toledo Memorial Park, immediately following the service
Cody lived every day with a grateful heart, embracing each moment shared with family and friends. He found great happiness in the simple joys of life—golfing, bowling, cheering for his beloved Boston Bruins, and listening to the timeless music of The Moody Blues. Live concerts were a special delight to him, as was traveling across the country with Miriam to visit their son Bob during his tours, creating cherished memories from Charleston to San Francisco, New York to San Diego.
Above all, Cody will be remembered for his warmth, his laughter, and the unconditional love he gave so freely. His presence brought light to the lives of all who knew him, and his memory will remain an enduring blessing.
May his memory be eternal.
