Franklin T Kuhr

Franklin T. Kuhr, 54, of Holland, formerly Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on July 12, 2014 due to natural causes. He was born on February 7, 1960 in Springdale, Ohio to Franklin H. and Janice G (DeBord) Kuhr. He was a 1978 graduate of Perrysburg High School and in 1988 he graduated from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. He married Andrea G. Orr in Jamaica on May 5, 2000. Frank was the current owner of DUCTZ of Northwest and Central Ohio. He was also prior CFO of J Management. He had also worked for several area banks and was Vice President at several locations. Frank loved golfing and traveling as well as boating along with the occasional hunting, which he mainly enjoyed because he was with his family. He also loved spending time at the beach. Frank was a huge music fan, especially classic rock and Elvis Presley and loved attending concerts with his family and friends. He spent several years coaching softball, baseball and basketball for both of his children and he was always there to cheer them on at all of their different activities. Organ donation was a cause very close to his heart; he was past President of the Kidney Foundation of Northwest Ohio and was currently serving as a board member. He was also involved with Life Connection. Frank is survived by his loving wife, Andrea G. Kuhr; children, Lauren and Konner Kuhr; stepson, Taylor (Amanda) Taube; granddaughter, Emelia Taube; father, Franklin H. Kuhr; brothers, Gregory (Annette) Kuhr and Douglas (Brenda) Kuhr; grandmother, Sally DeBord; ten nieces and nephews and one great niece and one great nephew. He is preceded in death by his mother, Janice G. Kuhr. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 27. Burial will be private at Fort Meigs Union Cemetery in Perrysburg.
