Franklin J. Kuebbeler, age 68, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2017 at Foundation Park Care Center. Frank was born September 23, 1948 to Francis and Hazel (Dyer) Kuebbeler in Toledo. He was a veteran of the US Navy and served during the Vietnam war era on the USS Carrier Shangri-La. Frank worked at the Toledo Jeep plant as a press operator for 34 years until retiring in 2008. He was a dedicated sports fan who especially enjoyed hockey and baseball. Frank was an avid blood donor. He was a devoted servant of the Lord and will be remembered as a loving husband, father and Papa. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Debbie; children, Jeff (Annie) and Julie (Jason) Blevins; grandchildren, Hannah, Haley, and Andrew; brother, Andy Martin; sisters, Nancy, Regina, and Helen; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and beloved pets, Sukie and Sato. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Laura Giles. Visitation will be Sunday, February 5, 2017 from 12-4:00pm at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) where services will be held at 3:00pm. Interment will be private at Highland Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Military Order of the Purple Heart Foundation, 7008 Little River Turnpike PO Box 49, Annandale, VA 22003.
