Franklin Carl Adolph, 74, of Oak Harbor, OH passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021 at his residence. He was born on December 22, 1946 in Cleveland, OH to Franklin C. and Dorothy F. (Freeman) Adolph. Frank served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He previously lived in Arizona for over 30 years and worked doing masonry construction. For the last 11 years he has lived back in Ohio. Frank was known to be stubborn as a mule. He enjoyed going to car races, monster truck events, playing on his computer, and watching WWE professional wrestling. Frank is survived by his children, Robert Adolph, Julie (Matthew) Smith, and Carl (Brooke) Adolph, 3 grandchildren, Mark (Fiancée Ashley) Smith, Courtney Young, and Landen Adolph, 6 great grandchildren, Harleigh Smith, Jocelyn Smith, Hazel Smith, Elana Smith, Abel Young, and Isaac Smith, siblings, Larry (Cindy) Adolph and Sandy Williams, former first wife, Mary Adolph, and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, second wife, Carol Adolph, and brother, David Adolph. Memorial services for Frank will be held at a later date. Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor, OH is assisting the family with arrangements.
