Frank J. Piasecki, Sr., 91, of Toledo, OH passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018 at Genesis, Swanton Valley Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 24, 1926 in Toledo to Casper F. and Emily A. (Jacob) Piasecki and he married Donna Clark on September 14, 1946 also in Toledo. Frank was a 1943 graduate of Woodward High School and went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Marine Corps as a gunner during WWII. Frank was the proud owner and operator of Piasecki’s Service, Inc., up until 1985 when his sons took over the automotive business. The business has flourished into a well know establishment in the Reynolds Corners neighborhood. Frank was dedicated to his community and additionally served on the Reynolds Corners, Adams Township Fire Department for many years. He enjoyed shooting and motorcycles and was a lifelong member of both the NRA and the American Motorcycle Association. In Frank’s motorcycling racing years he won the Jack Pine Enduro in 1952. Frank was also very active in the Adams Conservation Club, especially the Juniors Program, where he acted as a coach. He was a long time member of the American Legion Post # 0553. Frank loved repairing cars and bowling. He bowled his first 300 at age 71. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Donna Piasecki; children, Pamela (Jim) Fahrer, Frank (Cheryl) Piasecki, Jr., Jeffrey (Jill) Piasecki and Kevin (Zandra) Piasecki; grandchildren, Neil (Erin) Piasecki, Brooke (Steve) Culpepper, James (Ashley) Fahrer, Aaron Fahrer, Michael (Courtney) Fahrer, Zachrey Piasecki and Joshua Piasecki; step grandchildren, Jeremy (Stephanie) Allnutt, Amanda Allnut and Troy Allnut; great grandchildren, Ethan, Kendall, Gavin and Hazel; and step great grandchildren, Isabella, Dillon and Ashlyn. He was preceded in death by his father, Casper Piasecki; mother, Emily Ordway and step father, Cliff Ordway. Per Frank’s wishes funeral services will be private.
