Frank "Randy" Myers

April 8, 1953 — March 12, 2026

Frank "Randy" Myers, 72, passed away on March 12, 2026, in the care of Orchard Villa.

Randy was born on April 8, 1953, in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, to Frank McCain Myers and Doris (Cunningham) Myers. He attended Woodward High School and began his working life as a gas station attendant. He later worked for many years as a machinist with Ohio Saw & Cutter, continuing with the company after it became Michigan Saw & Cutter until its eventual closure. Later on, Randy developed an interest in healthcare and became a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA), a role he took great pride in. He often fondly remembered his time working at Flower Hospital, even as Alzheimer's disease progressed in his later years.

Randy was married to the love of his life, Bonnie (Marty) Myers. The couple shared 39 wonderful years together before her passing in 2012. Together they built a life full of simple joys and shared adventures, including many trips to Cedar Point in their younger years and frequent outings for a good cheeseburger.

In his free time, he enjoyed crafting, building Lego sets, knitting, and working on puzzles. He had a deep love for the James Bond films and enjoyed westerns, World War II history, and the Jurassic Park series. A devoted history buff, Randy was especially fascinated by conspiracy theories and loved discussing historical events. Before his illness, he was also well known among family and friends for baking delicious French bread for many years.

Randy is survived by his daughter, Kimmie (Steve) Ballou; grandchildren, Nicholas Myers, Stephenie (Jarrod) Ballou, Ambrosia (Willie) Evans, and Elijah Myers; great-grandchildren, Dameon Burton, Levi Wicker, and Camden Mullins; and his brother, Gerald Myers Sr.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bonnie Myers; his parents, Frank McCain and Doris Myers; and his siblings, Darlene Willowford and Richard Myers.

A memorial burial will take place at a later date. Tokens of sympathy may be given to Robinson-Walker Funeral Home, 501 West Street, Genoa, Ohio, in the care of Randy's family to support them during this difficult time.
