Frank S. Konwinski Jr.

Frank S. Konwinski passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at the age of 92. Born on February 16, 1934, in Toledo, Ohio, to Francis A. and Stella (Horoszewski) Konwinski, Frank lived a life grounded in faith, family, friends, and the simple pleasures he enjoyed most. A man of strong Catholic faith, he found comfort and guidance in his beliefs throughout his life.

Frank loved spending time outdoors, especially fishing and golfing. Whether casting a line on a quiet morning or enjoying a round of golf with friends, he appreciated the fellowship and relaxation these pastimes provided.

He is survived by his children, Frank (Theresa) Konwinski, Mary (Edmund) Peterson, and Connie (Marc) Berman. He was the proud grandfather of Kelly, Julia, Aaron, Elyse, Amy, Jason, Molly, Anne, and Ed. He was the great-grandfather of sixteen.

Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; his parents, Frank and Stella; his brother, Robert (Jan) Konwinski; and his sisters, Theresa (Andy) Elekonich and Evelyn (Jerry) Lee.

Special thanks to all of the caregivers of Ohioans Hospice, as well as to Jenna Stiles, for the assistance and loving attention they provided to Frank along with support to the family. Special thanks to Ed Peterson, also, for caring for and maintaining Grandpa's home. We are most grateful.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from 3-8 pm at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Avenue, Toledo, OH 43623, where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026, beginning at 10 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 6149 Hill Avenue, Toledo, OH. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial donations in Frank's name may be made to Ohioans Hospice, 28276 Kensington Lane, Perrysburg, Ohio, 43551.
