Frank Madison Durden Sr., age 75, made his transition on September 28, 2019 at Hospice of NW Ohio. He was born one of seven siblings to the late Rev. Freeman L Durden Sr and Commilla (Johnson) Durden on March 19, 1944 in Tunica Mississippi. Frank received Christ at an early age. Frank united in Holy matrimony to the love of his life Henrietta (Belton) Durden on October 11, 1963 in McKeesport PA. He retired from the City of Rossford. Frank leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 56 years Henrietta, children Frank Jr, Terrence (Ursula), Jason, Crystal, Shantell, and son of his heart/nephew John Tooson IV. He is loved and remembered by his brothers Freeman Jr, Rev. Roye Sr. (Earleen), Decatur (Marina), loving sister Arnethia Tooson, sisters in law Rita Marshall and Evelyn Saunders, brothers in law Nathaniel Carter, Leroy, Gerald, Ronald and Leonard Belton. Frank also leaves behind a loving legacy of 21 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and mother in law Ruby Belton, brothers Harvey L. McAdory and Douglas M. Durden, brother in law James Fifer and sister in law Theresa Armstrong. Friends may call at the Sujkowski-Walker Funeral home, 830 Lime City Rd., Rossford OH, Thursday, October 3rd from 2pm to 8pm. Funeral services will begin at 11 am Friday, October 4th, at the Warren A.M.E. Church, 915 Collinwood Blvd., Toledo OH 43604. Burial will follow immediately after at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1502 W. Central Ave, Toledo OH.
