Frank E. Dieball, Sr. age 91 went peacefully to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Frank retired from Toledo Metal Spinning after 48 years. He served our great country in WWII in the US Navy. He was deployed on board the battleship USS Mississippi from which he observed the signing of the peace agreement in Pearl Harbor. Frank served as Coordinator of Lucas Wood County REACT working closely with the Toledo Police on holiday weekends. He had a passion for hunting, fishing and working with scrap metal. Frank will be greatly missed by everyone whose lives he touched. Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Dieball. He is survived by his son, Frank (Darlene) Dieball, Jr.; daughters, Mary F. (James) Briolat, Caroline A. (Fred) Pine; grandchildren, Leslie (Paul) Batt, Jennifer L. (Graham) Tolley, Jesse (Kristi) Pine, Betsy Dieball, Jamie (John) Sampel, Tammy (Rob) Kunz and 9 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is his sister in-law, Phyllis Nuber; special niece, Sherri English and many other special nieces, nephews and relatives. Family and friends will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee, OH on Sunday, September 24, 2017 from 2-8 PM. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Roth Memorial Cemetery, Monclova, OH.
