Frank Black

Frank Black, 95, of Toledo, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at the University of Toledo Medical Center. Frank was born in Tyre, Michigan on October 21, 1922. He was married to Edith J. (Morelock) Black who preceded him in death. Frank served in the United States Army during WWII. He enjoyed hunting, auto racing, and taking trips to the casino. He is survived by his loving sons, William (Karen) Black, Tracy (Michael Wheeler) Black; granddaughter, Crystal Black; three great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife; daughter, Fonda Black; four brothers; one sister; and parents. Friends will be received on Friday, October, 27, 2017 from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg, Ohio (419-874-3133). Burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Toledo Area Humane Society, 827 Illinois Avenue, Maumee, Ohio.
