Francis C. Bud Bohls

Francis “Bud” C. Bohls, 84, of Toledo, OH passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Ebeid Hospice surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 7, 1933 to Clayton C. and Kathryn D. (Maley) Bohls in Toledo and he married Betty Jean Hartford on February 21, 1953 also in Toledo. Bud was a graduate of Macomber High School. He worked for many years in wholesale, with Spangler and HC Albring. Bud most recently was employed with Big T Sales, which he eventually purchased and became owner and operator before retiring. Along with his wife, Betty, Bud belonged to the Maumee Valley Model T Club and enjoyed taking his Model A to antique car shows and parades. His greatest joy was his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bud is survived by his children, Jean Maley and Joyce Bohls; grandchildren, Ronnie (Jen) Maley and Billie (Justin) Gray; great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Maley, Max Maley and Athena Gray; and sister, Mary (Dan) Schegel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Kathryn; wife, Betty; and sister, Claire Khori. Friends will be received on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM in Neville-Shank Funeral Home, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, OH 43528 (419-865-8879).
