Francine "Fran" Marie Cox

Francine “Fran” Marie Cox, age 67, of Port Clinton, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at her residence.  Fran was born on May 27, 1955, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Charles and Francis (Pajestka) Alberts.  She was a nurse for 38 years, practicing in urology, cardiology and internal medicine.  Throughout her career, Fran was known to be a skillful caregiver and cared deeply for her patients.  She loved to crochet beautiful gifts for her friends and family. Fran loved God and the Catholic Church and also worked for the Diocese of Cleveland for 4 years. She was a proud member of the Lakefront Yacht Club in Port Clinton.

Fran is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Jim; sister, Charlotte Apuzzio and nephew, John Apuzzio.

Visitation for Fran will be from 4-8pm on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at the Gerner-Wolf Walker Funeral Home, 216 Washington Street, Port Clinton, Ohio, where a rosary will be recited at 7 pm by members of Immaculate Conception Altar Rosary Society.  The funeral mass will be held at 11am on Friday, July 15, 2022 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 414 Madison Street, Port Clinton, Ohio.  Online condolences may be given at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com
