Frances H. Witte

Frances H. Witte, 90, of Port Clinton, OH passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at her residence. She was born on April 10, 1918 in Putnam County, OH, the daughter of Oliver and Kizzie May Bradfield Kramer. On December 21, 1940 in Genoa, OH, she married Newell P. Witte and he preceded her in death in 1978. Frances worked as a restaurant manager. She was a devoted member of the Church of the Nazarene, Port Clinton, OH. Frances loved to cook, shop and get her hair done. She will be greatly missed by her loving friends and family. Survivors include: Sister: Isabelle Jim Scott of Greenville, OH; Brother: Oliver Kramer of Ney, OH; Son-In-Law: Joe Juby of Columbus, OH; Granddaughter: Kellie Dan Windnagel of Columbus, OH; Grandson: Shane Suzanne Witte of Port Clinton, OH; and many nieces and great-grandchildren. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Ronald Witte, daughter Deanna L. Juby, brothers Homer Clarence Kramer, sisters Mary Ogle, Bertha Bunday and Ruth Hudson. A Memorial Service will be conducted by Pastor Carolyn Joseph at 10:00AM, Saturday, October 25, 2008, at the Church of the Nazarene, 205 W. Fourth St., Port Clinton, OH. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial contributions in memory of Frances may be given to the Church of the Nazarene.
