Frances L. Sakola

Frances L. Sakola, 86, of Perrysburg, passed away Friday, March 25, 2022 at Brighton Gardens in Westlake, Ohio surrounded by her family. Frances was born July 17, 1935 in Dalton, Illinois to Frank and Grace (Hellinga) Beluschek. She earned her bachelor's degree from (Bowling Green State University, 1957) in education.

Frances immediately started her teaching career before retiring in 2002 from the Toledo Public Schools. She was a member of First Church in Perrysburg, Ohio. She loved the outdoors, family reunions and golfing. She enjoyed riding her bike and traveling with her grandchildren to their sporting events.

Frances is survived by her son; Jon Sakola; grandchildren, Nicholas, Mariangela and Veronica Sakola; their mother Sharon; daughter-in-law, Kathy Stack and brother, Bill (Kathy) Beluschek. She was preceded in death by her parents and followed by her son, James Sakola.

A memorial service for Frances will be held Friday, April 22, 2022 at 11 A.M. at First Church of Perrysburg, 200 W. 2 ^nd Street, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551. Inurnment will follow in Fort Meigs Union Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, Perrysburg (419-874-3133).
